Please refer to the community engagement course supports available to faculty and staff to determine whether you feel prepared to assist in a community engagement reciprocal relationship.
Community engagement refers to a reciprocal relationship with a partner; it is mutually-beneficial. Community service refers to work that does engage with a community, although it usually favours the experience of one party (i.e. a student teacher observing a classroom).
Please see our guiding principles and framework for community engagement at Queen’s.
Please visit our events page to see upcoming opportunities for you to get involved.
