🏆 Prizes & Awards

The Sir Wilfrid Laurier
Memorial Prize

Awarded for proficiency in French conversation.

To honour the memory of the late Sir Wilfrid Laurier, this scholarship is awarded by the Ontario Women’s Liberal Association for proficiency in French conversation. The award is given by recommendation of the Department of French Studies to a Canadian student (by birth or naturalization) who is enrolled in French classes and whose native tongue is not French.

Value: $385

Eligibility: The Department of French Studies invites graduating students enrolled in French classes to apply for this prize.

Applications are now closed for 2025.
The next application cycle will run towards the end of March 2026.
