    Description:

This February, Queen's employees are invited to take part in the Push-Up Challenge, Canada's largest mental health and fitness event, in support of the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA). Participants are challenged to complete 2,000 push-ups between February 5 and February 27, 2026, representing the approximately 2,000 lives lost to suicide each day worldwide. The challenge is flexible, inclusive, and open to everyone, push-ups can be substituted with exercises such as squats, sit-ups, or lunges.

Whether you participate individually or as part of a team, the Push-Up Challenge is an opportunity to move your body, spark meaningful conversations about mental health, and connect with colleagues across campus. Participants receive daily movement targets, mental health facts, and access to free training resources to support safe participation.

Employees are encouraged to create or join a team and register under the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Community to push together and build connection through friendly, supportive competition. Participation is free, and optional fundraising supports CMHA's vital work to improve mental health outcomes in Canada.
