    Dr. Johnson is a health economist and Professor in the Department of Public Health Sciences at Queen’s University. She received her undergraduate degree in Economics from Nottingham University in England, followed by a Master’s in Economics from the University of Houston. She went on to complete her PhD in Health Economics and Health Services Research at the University of Texas Health Science Center, School of Public Health.

    Dr. Johnson’s research focuses on the economic evaluation of health care programs, uncertainty in cost‑effectiveness analysis, decision-making, resource allocation, public health, and health technologies. Her recent work includes economic evaluations across a range of health programs and the application of classical and Bayesian methods to analyze uncertainty in cost‑effectiveness. She has also led decision‑analytic research on prioritization and resource allocation in the United States, Canada, and New Zealand.
